Construction of 11 industrial units, structures supported by driven pre-cast concrete and steel piles on the former brewery site.
An existing freshwater borehole and associated pump house, still currently used in the brewing process, had to be carefully worked around during the construction .
The project also included the restoration of the existing Grade II listed former 'maltings' building creating 10 individual offices. The existing timbers, blackened over many years of brewing, were carefully preserved and incorporated as features within the new office units.
Whilst the building was being re-roofed the venting turrets, which assisted in the drying process of the grain, were sympathetically dismantled and replaced/renewed to ensure the original features of the building were maintained.
